Accessing legacy writing was a natural step in my personal and professional path. I´m a sociologist, researcher, writer, designer and Yiddish teacher and translator. These activities and professions illustrate my unending personal search for meaning and roots and have yielded books and films. The absence of my family stories from the silence of my parents who came from Eastern Europe provoked my writing, searching, interviewing people, sharing and selecting stories, writing their testimonies.

One chapter In my book about Jewish Cemeteries in México was dedicated to Ethical Wills and Legacies, and that led me directly to legacy writing which I was doing incessantly without knowing to name it in that way.

Women's Lives, Women's Legacies gave my work a fresh perspective which was of utmost importance for getting to deeper situations of men and women, trying to heal or help in difficult cases, through writing and understanding one´s values, wisdom, and legacies.
