Legacy Facilitators In Maine

You’re going to die.

I’m going to die.

We’re all going to die.

It is the only certain thing about life.

Death is a natural part of life, and when it is openly discussed, considered and prepared for; it creates a far better death experience for all involved. There are the things that everyone thinks of when considering their own death: wills, advance directives, etc. While those are extremely important, there is so much more that can – and should – be done.

I am passionate about helping people to prepare their end of life plan. A vital part of this is documenting and passing along your legacy; what is important to you, your values, your advice, and most importantly, your stories. Legacy writing is beneficial not only for the writer but for the recipients as well; it can foster forgiveness, love, peace, and acceptance.

As a Death Doula, hospice volunteer, Death Café facilitator, and Legacy facilitator, I am eager to help you to document your legacy, prepare your end of life plan, and help to create the best death possible whenever that time may come. Since we don’t know when that time will come, preparation is key – do it now!
