About the Program
The Legacy Writing Certification training program consists of four 2.5 hour interactive Zoom classes over an 8 week period.
In addition, students will be offered a 1 hour individual consultation-coaching session with one of the trainers at a time of their choosing.
Trainees will be given reading and writing assignments drawn primarily from Rachael’s books: Women’s Lives, Women’s Legacies and Your Legacy Matters which will need to be purchased prior to the first session.
Trainees will be given an opportunity to practice the principles of legacy writing and share some of their writing with others participating in the training program.
This training has and will prepare people who are interested in teaching/facilitating legacy writing workshops for people in a variety of settings (e.g. adult community education programs, senior living facilities, community centers, hospitals, churches and other places of worship).
Participants have come from many professions such as social workers, therapists, hospice and palliative care providers, chaplains, spiritual advisors, and planned giving officers.
