Legacy Facilitators In Michigan

Ayse Berkand Tobey

Northville, Michigan
Aysetobey144@gmail.com

Throughout her life, as a worldwide traveler and a freelance writer, Ayse has studied and experienced many of the world’s wisdom traditions. She has been a spiritual teacher who empowers individuals on their life paths by gently guiding them.

Life consists of a series of transitions: birth, death, divorce, separation, retirement, terminal illness. During each transition an individual gains life lessons and hopes. That is where the Legacy Writing comes into play. Ayse believes it is important to leave legacy of values to share with loved ones. Once one identifies core values of life and how to express that legacy in a format that reflects them, with an added blessing, they would be creating a legacy letter.

Among other accomplishments, Ayse has been an advocate for residents in long-term-care facilities. During her visits with the elderly she has heard many stories on lessons of life that could have each become legacy letters on their own. Now, as well as being a Legacy Facilitator, Ayse is an End-of-Life Doula and an Advance Care Planning Facilitator. She accompanies the dying person and their family through the final days of life to give them comfort and guidance.

Ayse was called to Legacy work at a time of her life when she had turned more inward to hear the wisdom of her own stories. She uses Legacy Writing both as a personal healing tool and a professional vocation. Being an energy healer herself, she believes legacy writing can add a deeper component to an individual’s healing process.

Ayse believes that personal stories are sacred and are meant to be shared with people important in one’s life. She is passionate about using Legacy Writing to create a safe space for individuals to explore what is most important to them and to identify the blessings and wisdom they will impart to future generations. She is offering her services to local groups, hospice patients and families. She considers the sacred work of Legacy Writing a great blessing that has come into her life at a perfect moment.
